Chapter 21

  1. [Lev 21:1-24 NKJV] 1 And YAHUAH said to Moses, “Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them: ‘None shall defile himself for the dead among his people, 2 ‘except for his relatives who are nearest to him: his mother, his father, his son, his daughter, and his brother; 3 ‘also his virgin sister who is near to him, who has had no husband, for her he may defile himself. 4 ‘[Otherwise] he shall not defile himself, [being] a chief man among his people, to profane himself. 5 ‘They shall not make any bald [place] on their heads, nor shall they shave the edges of their beards nor make any cuttings in their flesh. 6 ‘They shall be holy to their God and not profane the name of their God, for they offer the offerings of YAHUAH made by fire, [and] the bread of their God; therefore they shall be holy. 7 ‘They shall not take a wife [who is] a harlot or a defiled woman, nor shall they take a woman divorced from her husband; for [the priest] is holy to his God. 8 ‘Therefore you shall consecrate him, for he offers the bread of your God. He shall be holy to you, for I YAHUAH, who sanctify you, [am] holy. 9 ‘The daughter of any priest, if she profanes herself by playing the harlot, she profanes her father. She shall be burned with fire. 10 ‘[He who is] the high priest among his brethren, on whose head the anointing oil was poured and who is consecrated to wear the garments, shall not uncover his head nor tear his clothes; 11 ‘nor shall he go near any dead body, nor defile himself for his father or his mother; 12 ‘nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God [is] upon him: I [am] YAHUAH. 13 ‘And he shall take a wife in her virginity. 14 ‘A widow or a divorced woman or a defiled woman [or] a harlot—these he shall not marry; but he shall take a virgin of his own people as wife. 15 ‘Nor shall he profane his posterity among his people, for I YAHUAH sanctify him.’ ” 16 And YAHUAH spoke to Moses, saying, 17 “Speak to Aaron, saying: ‘No man of your descendants in [succeeding] generations, who has [any] defect, may approach to offer the bread of his God. 18 ‘For any man who has a defect shall not approach: a man blind or lame, who has a marred [face] or any [limb] too long, 19 ‘a man who has a broken foot or broken hand, 20 ‘or is a hunchback or a dwarf, or [a man] who has a defect in his eye, or eczema or scab, or is a eunuch. 21 ‘No man of the descendants of Aaron the priest, who has a defect, shall come near to offer the offerings made by fire to YAHUAH. He has a defect; he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God. 22 ‘He may eat the bread of his God, [both] the most holy and the holy; 23 ‘only he shall not go near the veil or approach the altar, because he has a defect, lest he profane My sanctuaries; for I YAHUAH sanctify them.’ ” 24 And Moses told [it] to Aaron and his sons, and to all the children of Israel.

    1. [Jhn 14:6-11 NKJV] 6 Yahusha said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” 8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” 9 Yahusha said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own [authority]; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. 11 “Believe Me that I [am] in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.

    2. [Mat 8:18-22 NKJV] 18 And when Yahusha saw great multitudes about Him, He gave a command to depart to the other side. 19 Then a certain scribe came and said to Him, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.” 20 And Yahusha said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air [have] nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay [His] head.” 21 Then another of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.” 22 But Yahusha said to him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”

    3. [Luk 9:57-62 NKJV] 57 Now it happened as they journeyed on the road, [that] someone said to Him, “Lord, I will follow You wherever You go.” 58 And Yahusha said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air [have] nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay [His] head.” 59 Then He said to another, “Follow Me.” But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.” 60 Yahusha said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God.” 61 And another also said, “Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go [and] bid them farewell who are at my house.” 62 But Yahusha said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

    4. [1Ki 18:25, 27-29 KJV] 25 And Elijah said unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one bullock for yourselves, and dress [it] first; for ye [are] many; and call on the name of your gods, but put no fire [under]. … 27 And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he [is] a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, [or] peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked. 28 And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them. 29 And it came to pass, when midday was past, and they prophesied until the [time] of the offering of the [evening] sacrifice, that [there was] neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded.

    5. [Deu 14:1-2 NKJV] 1 “You [are] the children of YAHUAH your God; you shall not cut yourselves nor shave the front of your head for the dead. 2 “For you [are] a holy people to YAHUAH your God, and YAHUAH has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples who [are] on the face of the earth.

    6. [Jer 48:37-38 NKJV] 37 “For every head [shall be] bald, and every beard clipped; On all the hands [shall be] cuts, and on the loins sackcloth— 38 A general lamentation On all the housetops of Moab, And in its streets; For I have broken Moab like a vessel in which [is] no pleasure,” says YAHUAH.

    7. [1Co 15:50-54 KJV] 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

    8. [Isa 43:10-13 KJV] 10 Ye [are] my witnesses, saith YAHUAH, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I [am] he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. 11 I, [even] I, [am] YAHUAH; and beside me [there is] no saviour. 12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when [there was] no strange [god] among you: therefore ye [are] my witnesses, saith YAHUAH, that I [am] God. 13 Yea, before the day [was] I [am] he; and [there is] none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?

    9. [Jhn 8:56-59 NKJV] 56 “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw [it] and was glad.” 57 Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” 58 Yahusha said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” 59 Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Yahusha hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

    10. [Mat 5:17-20 KJV] 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

    11. [Mat 10:32-39 KJV] 32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. 34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man’s foes [shall be] they of his own household. 37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

    12. [Act 8:26-40 NKJV] 26 Now an angel of YAHUAH spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is desert. 27 So he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship, 28 was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet. 29 Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go near and overtake this chariot.” 30 So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” 31 And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him. 32 The place in the Scripture which he read was this: “He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; And as a lamb before its shearer is silent, So He opened not His mouth. 33 In His humiliation His justice was taken away, And who will declare His generation? For His life is taken from the earth.” 34 So the eunuch answered Philip and said, “I ask you, of whom does the prophet say this, of himself or of some other man?” 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Yahusha to him. 36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, [here is] water. What hinders me from being baptized?” 37 Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Yahusha Ha’Mashiach is the Son of God.” 38 So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. 39 Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of YAHUAH caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing. 40 But Philip was found at Azotus. And passing through, he preached in all the cities till he came to Caesarea.

      1. [Deu 23:1-3 KJV] 1 He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of YAHUAH. 2 A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of YAHUAH; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of YAHUAH. 3 An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of YAHUAH; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of YAHUAH for ever:
    13. [Mat 9:2-8 NKJV] 2 Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Yahusha saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” 3 And at once some of the scribes said within themselves, “This Man blasphemes!” 4 But Yahusha, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts? 5 “For which is easier, to say, ‘[Your] sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’? 6 “But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” 7 And he arose and departed to his house. 8 Now when the multitudes saw [it], they marveled and glorified God, who had given such power to men.
