Leviticus Chapter 22
Session 22
Chapter 22
- [Leviticus 22:1-33 NKJV] 1 Then YAHUAH spoke to Moses, saying, 2 "Speak to Aaron and his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they do not profane My holy name [by] what they dedicate to Me: I [am] YAHUAH. 3 "Say to them: 'Whoever of all your descendants throughout your generations, who goes near the holy things which the children of Israel dedicate to YAHUAH, while he has uncleanness upon him, that person shall be cut off from My presence: I [am] YAHUAH. 4 'Whatever man of the descendants of Aaron, who [is] a leper or has a discharge, shall not eat the holy offerings until he is clean. And whoever touches anything made unclean [by] a corpse, or a man who has had an emission of semen, 5 'or whoever touches any creeping thing by which he would be made unclean, or any person by whom he would become unclean, whatever his uncleanness may be-- 6 'the person who has touched any such thing shall be unclean until evening, and shall not eat the holy unless he washes his body with water. 7 'And when the sun goes down he shall be clean; and afterward he may eat the holy, because it [is] his food. 8 'Whatever dies or is torn he shall not eat, to defile himself with it: I [am] YAHUAH. 9 'They shall therefore keep My ordinance, lest they bear sin for it and die thereby, if they profane it: I YAHUAH sanctify them. 10 'No outsider shall eat the holy; one who dwells with the priest, or a hired servant, shall not eat the holy thing. 11 'But if the priest buys a person with his money, he may eat it; and one who is born in his house may eat his food. 12 'If the priest's daughter is married to an outsider, she may not eat of the holy offerings. 13 'But if the priest's daughter is a widow or divorced, and has no child, and has returned to her father's house as in her youth, she may eat her father's food; but no outsider shall eat it. 14 'And if a man eats the holy unintentionally, then he shall restore a holy to the priest, and add one-fifth to it. 15 'They shall not profane the holy of the children of Israel, which they offer to YAHUAH, 16 'or allow them to bear the guilt of trespass when they eat their holy; for I YAHUAH sanctify them.' " 17 And YAHUAH spoke to Moses, saying, 18 "Speak to Aaron and his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them: 'Whatever man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, who offers his sacrifice for any of his vows or for any of his freewill offerings, which they offer to YAHUAH as a burnt offering-- 19 'of your own free will a male without blemish from the cattle, from the sheep, or from the goats. 20 'Whatever has a defect, you shall not offer, for it shall not be acceptable on your behalf. 21 'And whoever offers a sacrifice of a peace offering to YAHUAH, to fulfill [his] vow, or a freewill offering from the cattle or the sheep, it must be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no defect in it. 22 'Those blind or broken or maimed, or have an ulcer or eczema or scabs, you shall not offer to YAHUAH, nor make an offering by fire of them on the altar to YAHUAH. 23 'Either a bull or a lamb that has any limb too long or too short you may offer [as] a freewill offering, but for a vow it shall not be accepted. 24 'You shall not offer to YAHUAH what is bruised or crushed, or torn or cut; nor shall you make [any offering of them] in your land. 25 'Nor from a foreigner's hand shall you offer any of these as the bread of your God, because their corruption [is] in them, [and] defects [are] in them. They shall not be accepted on your behalf.' " 26 And YAHUAH spoke to Moses, saying: 27 "When a bull or a sheep or a goat is born, it shall be seven days with its mother; and from the eighth day and thereafter it shall be accepted as an offering made by fire to YAHUAH. 28 "[Whether it is] a cow or ewe, do not kill both her and her young on the same day. 29 "And when you offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to YAHUAH, offer [it] of your own free will. 30 "On the same day it shall be eaten; you shall leave none of it until morning: I [am] YAHUAH. 31 "Therefore you shall keep My commandments, and perform them: I [am] YAHUAH. 32 "You shall not profane My holy name, but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel. I [am] YAHUAH who sanctifies you, 33 "who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I [am] YAHUAH."
- [1 Corinthians 11:23-34 KJV] 23 For I have received of YAHUAH that which also I delivered unto you, That YAHUAH YAHUSHA the [same] night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake [it], and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner also [he took] the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink [it], in remembrance of me. 26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew YAHUAH's death till he come. 27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink [this] cup of YAHUAH, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of YAHUAH. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of [that] bread, and drink of [that] cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning YAHUAH's body. 30 For this cause many [are] weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of YAHUAH, that we should not be condemned with the world. 33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. 34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
- [Revelation 1:4-6 KJV] 4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; 5 And from Yahusha Ha'Mashiach, [who is] the faithful witness, [and] the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
- [Revelation 5:6-10 NKJV] 6 And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. 7 Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne. 8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 9 And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."
- [Matthew 12:1-7 KJV] 1 At that time Yahusha went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat. 2 But when the Pharisees saw [it], they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day. 3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him; 4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? 5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? 6 But I say unto you, That in this place is [one] greater than the temple. 7 But if ye had known what [this] meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
- [Job 12:5-13 NKJV] 5 A lamp is despised in the thought of one who is at ease; [It is] made ready for those whose feet slip. 6 The tents of robbers prosper, And those who provoke God are secure--In what God provides by His hand. 7 "But now ask the beasts, and they will teach you; And the birds of the air, and they will tell you; 8 Or speak to the earth, and it will teach you; And the fish of the sea will explain to you. 9 Who among all these does not know That the hand of YAHUAH has done this, 10 In whose hand [is] the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind? 11 Does not the ear test words And the mouth taste its food? 12 Wisdom [is] with aged men, And with length of days, understanding. 13 "With Him [are] wisdom and strength, He has counsel and understanding.
- [Hebrews 13:1-3 NKJV] 1 Let brotherly love continue. 2 Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so [doing] some have unwittingly entertained angels. 3 Remember the prisoners as if chained with them--those who are mistreated--since you yourselves are in the body also.
