[h8193]lip, [h8435]genealogies, scatter[h6327], Aleph/Tav–the city[h5892], Aleph/Tav–the tower[h4026], [h2490]defile, restrain[h1219], [h2161]thought
[Genesis 11:1-32 KJV*]
- 1 And the whole earth was of one[h259][אחת] [h8193]lip, and [אחדים[cv]][h259]few [h1697]words.
- 2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found [h1237]a valley in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
- 3 And they said one to his neighbor, [h3051]give, [h3835]let us bleach [h3843]bricks, and let us burn them [h8316]to burning. And there was for them the brick for stone, and there was for them the asphalt for mortar.
- 4 And they said, give, let us build a city and a tower for us, and his head in the heavens; and let us make a name[h8034][שׁם] for us, lest we be scattered[h6327] upon the face of the whole earth.
- 5 And YAHUAH came down to see Aleph/Tav–the city[h5892] and Aleph/Tav–the tower[h4026], which the children of the Adam [h1129]built.
- 6 And YAHUAH said, Behold, one people and one lip [לכלּם][h3605]for all of them, and this [h2490]they cause to defile to do: and now nothing will be restrained[h1219] from them, which they have [h2161]thought to do.
- 7 [h3051]Give, let us go down, [h1101]and let us mix [h8193]their lip there, that [h8085]they hear not man his neighbor’s [h8193]lip.
- 8 So YAHUAH scattered[h6327] Aleph/Tav{/Mem} them from there upon the face of all the earth: and they ceased to build the city.
- 9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because there YAHUAH mixed the lip of all the earth: and from there YAHUAH caused to scatter them upon the face of all the earth.
- 10 These [h8435]genealogies of Shem: Shem an hundred years old, and begat Aleph/Tav–Arphaxad two years after the flood:
- 11 And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.
- 12 And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Aleph/Tav–Salah:
- 13 And Arphaxad lived after he begat Aleph/Tav–Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.
- 14 And Salah lived thirty years, and begat Aleph/Tav–Eber:
- 15 And Salah lived after he begat Aleph/Tav–Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.
- 16 And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Aleph/Tav–Peleg:
- 17 And Eber lived after he begat Aleph/Tav–Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters.
- 18 And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Aleph/Tav–Reu:
- 19 And Peleg lived after he begat Aleph/Tav–Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters.
- 20 And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begat Aleph/Tav–Serug:
- 21 And Reu lived after he begat Aleph/Tav–Serug two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters.
- 22 And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Aleph/Tav–Nahor:
- 23 And Serug lived after he begat Aleph/Tav–Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.
- 24 And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Aleph/Tav–Terah:
- 25 And Nahor lived after he begat Aleph/Tav–Terah an hundred and nineteen years, and begat sons and daughters.
- 26 And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Aleph/Tav–Abram, Aleph/Tav–Nahor, and Aleph/Tav–Haran.
- 27 Now these [h8435]genealogies of Terah: Terah begat Aleph/Tav–Abram, Aleph/Tav–Nahor, and Aleph/Tav–Haran; and Haran begat Aleph/Tav–Lot.
- 28 And Haran died before his father Terah in the land [h4138]of his kindred, in Ur of the Chaldees.
- 29 And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram's wife Sarai; and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Iscah.
- 30 But Sarai was barren; no child for her.
- 31 And Terah took Aleph/Tav–Abram his son, and Aleph/Tav–Lot the son of Haran, his son's son, extending to{Vav/Aleph/Tav} Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth Aleph/Tav{/Mem} them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.
- 32 And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.
Discussion
Why Aleph/Tav–
- [Gen 1:26-28] 26 And Alahym said, Let us make[h6213] [h120]Adam in our image[h6754], [h1823]as our likeness: [h7287]and let them rule [h1710]over fish of the sea, [h5775]and over flying creature [h8064]of the heavens, and over animal, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing[h7431] that creeps[h7430] upon the earth. 27 So Alahym created[h1254] Aleph/Tav–the Adam in His image, in the image of Alahym He created[h1254] Aleph/Tav{/Vav} him; He created[h1254] Aleph/Tav{/Mem} them male and female. 28 And Alahym blessed Aleph/Tav{/Mem} them and Alahym said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, [h4390]and fill Aleph/Tav–the earth, [h3533]and subdue her: [h7287]and rule over the fish of the sea, [h5775]and over flying creatures [h8064]of the heavens, and over every [h2416]creature [h7430]that creeps upon the earth.
- [Numbers 8:17 KJV] 17 For all the firstborn of the children of Israel [are] mine, [both] man and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.
- [Matthew 12:39-42 KJV] 39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation[g1074][γενεά] seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas [is] here. 42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon [is] here.
- [Gen 10:11] 11 Out of that land went forth Asshur, and built Aleph/Tav–Nineveh[h5210], and the city Aleph/Tav–Rehoboth[h7344], and Aleph/Tav–Calah,
- [Romans 8:29-30 KJV] 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
- [Jeremiah 1:5 KJV] 5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, [and] I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
- [Isaiah 44:24 KJV] 24 Thus saith YAHUAH your redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I YAHUAH that maketh all; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
- [1 Corinthians 15:35-49 KJV] 35 But some will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? 36 fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: 37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other: 38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. 39 All flesh [is] not the same flesh: but one flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, another of birds. 40 also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial one, and the of the terrestrial another. 41 one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for star differeth from star in glory. 42 So also the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam a life-giving spirit. 46 Howbeit that not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 47 The first man of the earth, earthy: the second man YAHUAH from heaven. 48 As the earthy, such [are] they also that are earthy: and as [is] the heavenly, such [are] they also that are heavenly. 49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
- [Hebrews 12:22-24 KJV] 22 But you are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 And to Yahusha the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than Abel.
- [Colossians 1:13-18 KJV] 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all he might have the preeminence.
- In multicellular organisms, stem cells are undifferentiated or partially differentiated cells that can change into various types of cells and proliferate indefinitely to produce more of the same stem cell. They are the earliest type of cell in a cell lineage.[1] They are found in both embryonic and adult organisms, but they have slightly different properties in each.
- [Revelation 1:4-8 KJV] 4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; 5 And from Yahusha Messiah, the faithful witness, the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him glory and dominion for ages of ages. Amen. 7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. 8 I am Aleph and Tav, the beginning and the ending, saith YAHUAH, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
- [Revelation 2:8 KJV] 8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
- [Revelation 22:13 KJV] 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
- [Ecclesiastes 7:1, 8 KJV] 1 A good name [is] better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth. ... 8 Better [is] the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: the patient in spirit [is] better than the proud in spirit.
- [Revelation 1:10-20 KJV] 10 I was in the Spirit on YAHUAH's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send [it] unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. 12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; 13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks [one] like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14 His head and [his] hairs [were] white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes [were] as a flame of fire; 15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. 16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance [was] as the sun shineth in his strength. 17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: 18 I [am] he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of Hades and of death. 19 Write the things which thou have seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; 20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Tower
- [Proverbs 18:10-12 KJV] 10 The name of YAHUAH a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. 11 The rich man's wealth his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit. 12 Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour humility.
City
- [Proverbs 16:32 KJV] 32 [He that is] slow to anger [is] better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
- [Proverbs 25:28 KJV] 28 He that [hath] no rule over his own spirit [is like] a city [that is] broken down, [and] without walls.
- [Revelation 21:10 KJV] 10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
- [Revelation 11:1-14 KJV] 1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty [and] two months. 3 And I will give [power] unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. 5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. 7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 8 And their dead bodies [shall lie] in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. 10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. 11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. 12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. 13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. 14 The second woe is past; [and], behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
Languages
- [Acts 2:1-18 KJV] 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. 6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. 7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? 9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, 10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God. 12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this? 13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine. 14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, You men of Judaea, and all that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 15 For these are not drunken, as you suppose, seeing it is the third hour of the day. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
- [Judges 12:4-6 KJV] 4 Then Jephthah gathered together all the men of Gilead, and fought with Ephraim: and the men of Gilead smote Ephraim, because they said, You Gileadites [are] fugitives of Ephraim among the Ephraimites, [and] among the Manassites. 5 And the Gileadites took the passages of Jordan before the Ephraimites: and it was [so], that when those Ephraimites which were escaped said, Let me go over; that the men of Gilead said unto him, [Art] thou an Ephraimite? If he said, Nay; 6 Then said they unto him, Say now Shibboleth: and he said Sibboleth: for he could not frame to pronounce [it] right. Then they took him, and slew him at the passages of Jordan: and there fell at that time of the Ephraimites forty and two thousand.
