  15. 15 And she said unto her, the small matter that you have taken Aleph/Tav–my husband? and shall you take Aleph/Tav–mandrakes of my son also? And Rachel said, Therefore he shall lie with you to night for your son's mandrakes.
  16. 16 And Jacob came out of the field in the evening, and Leah went out to meet him, and said, Your must come in unto me; for [h7936]I have hired [h7936]to hire you with my son's mandrakes. And he lay with her on that night.
  17. 17 And Alahym hearkened unto Leah, and she conceived, and bare Jacob the fifth son.
  18. 18 And Leah said, Alahym hath given me my hire[h7939][שׂכרי], because I have given my maiden to my husband: and she called his name Issachar[kz][h3485][ישּׂשכר].

  21. 21 And afterwards she bare a daughter, and called Aleph/Tav–her name Dinah[lb][h1783][דּינה].

  25. 25 And it came to pass, when Rachel had born Aleph/Tav–Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and to my country.
  26. 26 Give Aleph/Tav–my wives and Aleph/Tav–my children, for whom I have served Aleph/Tav{/Kaph} with you, and let me go: for Aleph/Tav{/Hey} you know Aleph/Tav–my service which I have served you.
  27. 27 And Laban said unto him, I pray you, if I have found favour in your eyes, [h5172]I have divined that YAHUAH has blessed me because of you.
  28. 28 And he said, [h5344]engrave me your wages[h7939], and I will give.
  29. 29 And he said unto him, Aleph/Tav{/Hey} you know Aleph/Tav how I have served you, extending to {Vav/}Aleph/Tav how your cattle was Aleph/Tav{/Yod} with me.
  30. 30 For little which you had before me, and it is increased unto a multitude; and YAHUAH hath blessed you since my coming: and now when shall I provide for mine own house also?
  31. 31 And he said, What shall I give you? And Jacob said, Thou shalt not give me any thing: if thou wilt do this thing for me, I will return to feed [and] keep your flock:
  32. 32 I will pass through all your flock to day, removing from thence all the speckled and spotted cattle, and all the brown cattle among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the goats: and shall be my hire[h7939].
  33. 33 So shall my righteousness answer for me in a day to come, when it shall come for my hire before your face: every one that [is] not speckled and spotted among the goats, and brown among the sheep, that shall be counted stolen Aleph/Tav{/Yod} with me.
  34. 34 And Laban said, Behold, I would it might be according to your word.
  35. 35 And he removed that day the he goats that were ringstraked and spotted, extending to {Vav/}Aleph/Tav all the she goats that were speckled and spotted, [and] every one that had [some] white[h3836][לבן] in it, and all the brown among the sheep, and gave [them] into the hand of his sons.
  36. 36 And he set three days' journey betwixt himself and Jacob: and Jacob fed the rest Aleph/Tav–flocks of Laban.
  37. 37 And Jacob took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chesnut tree; and pilled white[h3836] strakes in them, and made the white[h3836] appear which [was] in the rods.
  38. 38 And he set Aleph/Tav–the rods which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they should conceive when they came to drink.
  39. 39 And the flocks conceived before the rods, and brought forth cattle ringstraked, speckled, and spotted.
  40. 40 And Jacob did separate the lambs, and set the faces of the flocks toward the ringstraked, and all the brown in the flock of Laban; and he put his own flocks by themselves, and put them not unto Laban's cattle.
  41. 41 And it came to pass, in all that conceived of the tied[h7194] cattle, and Jacob laid the rods before the eyes of the cattle in the gutters, that they might conceive in the rods.
  42. 42 But when the cattle were feeble, he put [them] not in: so the feebler were Laban's, and the stronger Jacob's.
  43. 43 And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses.

  1. Twelve Sons of Israel

  1. [Genesis 49:1-30 KJV] 1 And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you [that] which shall befall you in the last days. 2 Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father. 3 Reuben, thou [art] my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power: 4 Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to your father's bed; then defiledst thou [it]: he went up to my couch. 5 Simeon and Levi [are] brethren; instruments of cruelty [are in] their habitations. 6 O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall. 7 Cursed [be] their anger, for [it was] fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel. 8 Judah, thou [art he] whom your brethren shall praise: your hand [shall be] in the neck of your enemies; your father's children shall bow down before you. 9 Judah [is] a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? 10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him [shall] the gathering of the people [be]. 11 Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes: 12 His eyes [shall be] red with wine, and his teeth white with milk. 13 Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he [shall be] for an haven of ships; and his border [shall be] unto Zidon. 14 Issachar [is] a strong ass couching down between two burdens: 15 And he saw that rest [was] good, and the land that [it was] pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute. 16 Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel. 17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward. 18 I have waited for your salvation, YAHUAH. 19 Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last. 20 Out of Asher his bread [shall be] fat, and he shall yield royal dainties. 21 Naphtali [is] a hind let loose: he giveth goodly words. 22 Joseph [is] a fruitful bough, [even] a fruitful bough by a well; [whose] branches run over the wall: 23 The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot [at him], and hated him: 24 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty [God] of Jacob; (from thence [is] the shepherd, the stone of Israel:) 25 [Even] by the God of your father, who shall help you; and by the Almighty, who shall bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb: 26 The blessings of your father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren. 27 Benjamin shall ravin [as] a wolf: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil. 28 All these [are] the twelve tribes of Israel: and this [is it] that their father spake unto them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them. 29 And he charged them, and said unto them, I am to be gathered unto my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave that [is] in the field of Ephron the Hittite, 30 In the cave that [is] in the field of Machpelah, which [is] before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field of Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a buryingplace.
