[Genesis 15:1-21 KJV*]
- The words after those were YAHUAH’s word to Abram in a vision, to say, Fear not, Abram: I [am] shield[dv][h4043] for you[dw], [h7939]your wage [h7235]caused to multiply [h3966]greatly.
- 2 And Abram said, Lord YAHUAH, what will you give me, I go childless, and son steward[h4943][משׁק] of my house [is] this Eliezer[dx] of Damascus[dy]?
- 3 And Abram said, Behold, to me you have given no seed: and, lo, son of my house [3423]possesses Aleph/Tav{/Yod} mine.
- 4 And, behold, the word of YAHUAH unto him, saying, This shall not [3423]possess yours; but he that shall come forth out of yours own bowels [3423]shall possess yours.
- 5 And he brought Aleph/Tav{/Vav} him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell[h5608] the stars, if you be able [h5608]to tell Aleph/Tav{/Mem} them: and he said unto him, So shall your seed be[dz].
- 6 And he believed[h539] in YAHUAH; [h2803]and he counted her[ea][eb] to him[ec] righteousness.
- 7 And he said unto him, I [am] YAHUAH that brought you out[ed] of Ur[ee] of the Chaldees[ef], to give you Aleph/Tav–the land cut from {Zayin/}Aleph/Tav [h3423]to possess her.
- 8 And he said, Lord YAHUAH, in what shall I know that [h3423]I shall possess her?
- 9 And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.
- 10 And he took unto him Aleph/Tav–all–these, and divided Aleph/Tav{/Mem} them in the midst, and gave [h376]man his part [לקראת][h7125]to meet [h7453]his neighbor but Aleph/Tav–the birds he divided not.
- 11 And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram [h5380]blew Aleph/Tav{/Mem} them away.
- 12 And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.
- 13 And he said unto Abram, Know[h3045] [h3045]to know that your seed shall be a stranger in a land not theirs, and shall serve them[eg]; and they shall afflict[h6031] Aleph/Tav{/Mem} them four hundred years;
- 14 And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
- 15 And you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried in a good old age[eh].
- 16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites [is] not yet full.
- 17 And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a lamp of fire that passed between those pieces.
- 18 In the same day YAHUAH made a covenant with Aleph/Tav–Abram, saying, Unto your seed have I given Aleph/Tav–the land cut from {Zayin/}Aleph/Tav, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
- 19 The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites,
- 20 And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims,
- 21 And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.

I Am Your Shield
- [Deuteronomy 33:29 KJV] 29 Happy [art] thou, O Israel: who [is] like unto thee, O people saved by YAHUAH, the shield[H4043] of your help, and who [is] the sword of your excellency! and yours enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shall tread upon their high places.
- [Judges 5:8 KJV] 8 They chose new gods; then [was] war in the gates: was there a shield[H4043] or spear seen among forty thousand in Israel?
- [2 Samuel 22:3, 31, 36 KJV] 3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: [he is] my shield,[H4043] and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. ... 31 [As for] God, his way [is] perfect; the word of YAHUAH [is] tried: he [is] a buckler[H4043] to all them that trust in him. ... 36 Thou hast also given me the shield[H4043] of your salvation: and your gentleness hath made me great.
And he counted her his righteousness
- [Hebrews 11:8-19 KJV] 8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. 9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as [in] a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: 10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker [is] God. 11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable. 13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of, and embraced, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. 15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. 16 But now they desire a better, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. 17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten, 18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall your seed be called: 19 Accounting that God able to raise up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
- [Nehemiah 9:7-8 KJV] 7 Thou [art] YAHUAH the God, who didst choose Abram, and broughtest him forth out of Ur of the Chaldees, and gavest him the name of Abraham; 8 And foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Jebusites, and the Girgashites, to give [it, I say], to his seed, and hast performed your words; for thou [art] righteous:
- [Isaiah 1:21-27 KJV] 21 How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers. 22 Your silver is become dross, your wine mixed with water: 23 Your princes [are] rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them. 24 Therefore saith YAHUAH, YAHUAH of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies: 25 And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away your dross, and take away all your tin: 26 And I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shall be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city. 27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.
The City
- [Isaiah 45:8-16 KJV] 8 Drop down, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I YAHUAH have created it. 9 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! [Let] the potsherd [strive] with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or your work, He hath no hands? 10 Woe unto him that saith unto [his] father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth? 11 Thus saith YAHUAH, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command you me. 12 I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, [even] my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded. 13 I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith YAHUAH of hosts. 14 Thus saith YAHUAH, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be yours: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, [saying], Surely God [is] in thee; and [there is] none else, [there is] no God. 15 Verily thou [art] a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour. 16 They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together [that are] makers of idols.
- [Jeremiah 31:22-25 KJV] 22 How long will thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for YAHUAH hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man. 23 Thus saith YAHUAH of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; YAHUAH bless thee, O habitation of justice, [and] mountain of holiness. 24 And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they [that] go forth with flocks. 25 For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
- [Luke 6:46-49 KJV] 46 And why call you me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? 47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: 48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. 49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
- [John 19:16-20 KJV] 16 Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Yahusha, and led [him] away. 17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called [the place] of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: 18 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Yahusha in the midst. 19 And Pilate wrote a title, and put [it] on the cross. And the writing was, Yahusha OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS. 20 This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Yahusha was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, [and] Greek, [and] Latin.
- [Revelation 11:1-14 KJV] 1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty [and] two months[ei][ej]. 3 And I will give unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth[ek]. 5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed[el]. 6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. 7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 8 And their dead bodies in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. 10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. 11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. 12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. 13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven[em]. 14 The second woe is past; behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
- [1 Corinthians 3:11-17 KJV] 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Yahusha Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 16 Know you not that you are the temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which [temple] you are.
- [Revelation 21:10-27 KJV] 10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 Having the glory of God: and her light [was] like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; 12 And had a wall great and high, [and] had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are [the names] of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. 14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. 16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. 17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred [and] forty [and] four cubits, [according to] the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. 18 And the building of the wall of it was [of] jasper: and the city [was] pure gold, like unto clear glass. 19 And the foundations of the wall of the city [were] garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation [was] jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; 20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. 21 And the twelve gates [were] twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city [was] pure gold, as it were transparent glass. 22 And I saw no temple therein: for YAHUAH God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb [is] the light thereof. 24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. 25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. 26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. 27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither [whatsoever] worketh abomination, or [maketh] a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
