  1. [Genesis 36:1-43 KJV*]

  1. 1 Now these the generations of Esau, who [is] Edom.
  2. 2 Esau took Aleph/Tav–his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Aleph/Tav–Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aleph/Tav–Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;
  3. 3 And Aleph/Tav–Bashemath Ishmael's daughter, sister of Nebajoth.
  4. 4 And Adah bare to Esau Aleph/Tav–Eliphaz; and Bashemath bare Aleph/Tav–Reuel;
  5. 5 And Aholibamah bare Aleph/Tav–Jeush, and Aleph/Tav–Jaalam, and Korah: these [are] the sons of Esau, which were born unto him in the land of Canaan.
  6. 6 And Esau took Aleph/Tav–his wives, and his sons, and Aleph/Tav–his daughters, and Aleph/Tav–all souls of his house, and Aleph/Tav–his cattle, and Aleph/Tav–all his animals, and Aleph/Tav–all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob.
  7. 7 For their goods were more than that they might dwell together; and the land of their pilgrimage could not bear Aleph/Tav{/Mem} them from face of their cattle.
  8. 8 Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau [is] Edom.
  9. 9 And these the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir:
  10. 10 These the names of Esau's sons; Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bashemath the wife of Esau.
  11. 11 And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.
  12. 12 And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son; and she bare to Eliphaz Aleph/Tav–Amalek: these the sons of Adah Esau's wife.
  13. 13 And these the sons of Reuel; Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah: these were the sons of Bashemath Esau's wife.
  14. 14 And these were the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon, Esau's wife: and she bare to Esau Aleph/Tav–Jeush, and Aleph/Tav–Jaalam, and Aleph/Tav–Korah.
  15. 15 These [were] dukes of the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz the firstborn of Esau; duke Teman, duke Omar, duke Zepho, duke Kenaz,
  16. 16 Duke Korah, duke Gatam, [and] duke Amalek: these [are] the dukes [that came] of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these [were] the sons of Adah.
  17. 17 And these the sons of Reuel Esau's son; duke Nahath, duke Zerah, duke Shammah, duke Mizzah: these the dukes of Reuel in the land of Edom; these the sons of Bashemath Esau's wife.
  18. 18 And these the sons of Aholibamah Esau's wife; duke Jeush, duke Jaalam, duke Korah: these the dukes of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau's wife.
  19. 19 These the sons of Esau, who [is] Edom, and these their dukes.
  20. 20 These [are] the sons of Seir the Horite, who inhabited the land; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah,
  21. 21 And Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan: these [are] the dukes of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.
  22. 22 And the children of Lotan were Hori and Hemam; and Lotan's sister [was] Timna.
  23. 23 And the children of Shobal [were] these; Alvan, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
  24. 24 And these [are] the children of Zibeon; both Ajah, and Anah: this [was that] Anah that found the mules in the wilderness, as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.
  25. 25 And the children of Anah [were] these; Dishon, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah.
  26. 26 And these [are] the children of Dishon; Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
  27. 27 The children of Ezer [are] these; Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan.
  28. 28 The children of Dishan [are] these; Uz, and Aran.
  29. 29 These [are] the dukes [that came] of the Horites; duke Lotan, duke Shobal, duke Zibeon, duke Anah,
  30. 30 Duke Dishon, duke Ezer, duke Dishan: these [are] the dukes [that came] of Hori, among their dukes in the land of Seir.
  31. 31 And these the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel.
  32. 32 And Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom: and the name of his city [was] Dinhabah.
  33. 33 And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
  34. 34 And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of Temani reigned in his stead.
  35. 35 And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city [was] Avith.
  36. 36 And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
  37. 37 And Samlah died, and Saul of Rehoboth [by] the river reigned in his stead.
  38. 38 And Saul died, and Baalhanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
  39. 39 And Baalhanan the son of Achbor died, and Hadar reigned in his stead: and the name of his city [was] Pau; and his wife's name [was] Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
  40. 40 And these [are] the names of the dukes [that came] of Esau, according to their families, after their places, by their names; duke Timnah, duke Alvah, duke Jetheth,
  41. 41 Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
  42. 42 Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
  43. 43 Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these [be] the dukes of Edom, according to their habitations in the land of their possession: he [is] Esau the father of the Edomites.

  1. Edom[אדום]: Adam[אדם] of the Red[אדמוני] Ground[אֲדָמָה]

  1. [Gen 2:7] 7 And YAHUAH Alahym formed[h3335] Aleph/Tav–the Adam[h120] dust[h6083] from the ground[h127], and breathed[h5301] into his nostrils[h639] breath[h5397] of [חיּים][h2416]lives; and the Adam became to a living[h2416][חיּה] [h5315]soul.
  2. [Gen 25:30-34] 30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray you, with that same red[h122] red[h122]; for I faint: therefore was his name called Edom[mg][h123]. 31 And Jacob said, Sell me this day your birthright[h1062]. 32 And Esau said, Behold, I at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? 33 And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. 34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised Aleph/Tav–the birthright.
  3. [Numbers 24:15-25 KJV] 15 And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said: 16 He hath said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, saw the vision of the Almighty, falling, but having his eyes open: 17 I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth. 18 And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly. 19 Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remaineth of the city. 20 And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek the first of the nations; but his latter end that he perish for ever. 21 And he looked on the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said, Strong is your dwellingplace, and thou puttest your nest in a rock. 22 Nevertheless the Kenite shall be wasted, until Asshur shall carry you away captive. 23 And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God doeth this! 24 And ships from the coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber, and he also shall perish for ever. 25 And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place: and Balak also went his way.
  4. [Psalm 60:8-9 KJV] 8 Moab [is] my washpot; over Edom[H123] will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me. 9 Who will bring me [into] the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?[H123]
  5. [Isaiah 11:13-16 KJV] 13 The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim. 14 But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them. 15 And YAHUAH shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make [men] go over dryshod. 16 And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.
  6. [Isaiah 34:6 KJV] 6 The sword of YAHUAH is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, [and] with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for YAHUAH hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.[H123]
  7. [Jeremiah 9:23-26 KJV] 23 Thus saith YAHUAH, Let not the wise [man] glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty [man] glory in his might, let not the rich [man] glory in his riches: 24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I [am] YAHUAH which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these [things] I delight, saith YAHUAH. 25 Behold, the days come, saith YAHUAH, that I will punish all [them which are] circumcised with the uncircumcised; 26 Egypt, and Judah, and Edom, and the children of Ammon, and Moab, and all [that are] in the utmost corners, that dwell in the wilderness: for all [these] nations [are] uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel [are] uncircumcised in the heart.
  8. [Jeremiah 49:7-22 KJV] 7 Concerning Edom, thus saith YAHUAH of hosts; [Is] wisdom no more in Teman? is counsel perished from the prudent? is their wisdom vanished? 8 Flee ye, turn back, dwell deep, O inhabitants of Dedan; for I will bring the calamity of Esau upon him, the time [that] I will visit him. 9 If grapegatherers come to you, would they not leave [some] gleaning grapes? if thieves by night, they will destroy till they have enough. 10 But I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered his secret places, and he shall not be able to hide himself: his seed is spoiled, and his brethren, and his neighbours, and he [is] not. 11 Leave your fatherless children, I will preserve [them] alive; and let your widows trust in me. 12 For thus saith YAHUAH; Behold, they whose judgment [was] not to drink of the cup have assuredly drunken; and [art] thou he [that] shall altogether go unpunished? thou shalt not go unpunished, but thou shalt surely drink [of it]. 13 For I have sworn by myself, saith YAHUAH, that Bozrah shall become a desolation, a reproach, a waste, and a curse; and all the cities thereof shall be perpetual wastes. 14 I have heard a rumour from YAHUAH, and an ambassador is sent unto the heathen, [saying], Gather ye together, and come against her, and rise up to the battle. 15 For, lo, I will make you small among the heathen, [and] despised among men. 16 Thy terribleness hath deceived you, [and] the pride of your heart, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest make your nest as high as the eagle, I will bring you down from thence, saith YAHUAH. 17 Also Edom shall be a desolation: every one that goeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss at all the plagues thereof. 18 As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour [cities] thereof, saith YAHUAH, no man shall abide there, neither shall a son of man dwell in it. 19 Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: but I will suddenly make him run away from her: and who [is] a chosen [man, that] I may appoint over her? for who [is] like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who [is] that shepherd that will stand before me? 20 Therefore hear the counsel of YAHUAH, that he hath taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them. 21 The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea. 22 Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.
  9. [Lamentations 4:21-22 KJV] 21 Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom, that dwellest in the land of Uz; the cup also shall pass through unto you: thou shalt be drunken, and shalt make yourself naked. 22 The punishment of your iniquity is accomplished, O daughter of Zion; he will no more carry you away into captivity: he will visit your iniquity, O daughter of Edom; he will discover your sins.
  10. [Ezekiel 25:12-14 KJV] 12 Thus saith the Lord YAHUAH; Because that Edom[H123] hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them; 13 Therefore thus saith the Lord YAHUAH; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom,[H123] and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword. 14 And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom[H123] by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom[H123] according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord YAHUAH.
  1. Jacob and Esau

  1. [Gen 25:22-23] 22 And the children pressed together within her; and she said, If [it be] so, why [am] I thus? And she went to enquire of Aleph/Tav–YAHUAH. 23 And YAHUAH said unto her, Two nations[h1471] in your womb[h990], and two peoples shall be separated from your belly; and [the one] people shall be stronger than [the other] people; and elder shall serve younger.
  2. [Malachi 1:1-5 KJV] 1 The burden of the word of YAHUAH to Israel by Malachi. 2 I have loved you, saith YAHUAH. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? [Was] not Esau Jacob's brother? saith YAHUAH: yet I loved Jacob, 3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness. 4 Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith YAHUAH of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom YAHUAH hath indignation for ever. 5 And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, YAHUAH will be magnified from the border of Israel.
  3. [Joshua 24:1-13 KJV] 1 And Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and called for the elders of Israel, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before God. 2 And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith YAHUAH God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, [even] Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods. 3 And I took your father Abraham from the other side of the flood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed, and gave him Isaac. 4 And I gave unto Isaac Jacob and Esau: and I gave unto Esau mount Seir, to possess it; but Jacob and his children went down into Egypt. 5 I sent Moses also and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I did among them: and afterward I brought you out. 6 And I brought your fathers out of Egypt: and ye came unto the sea; and the Egyptians pursued after your fathers with chariots and horsemen unto the Red sea. 7 And when they cried unto YAHUAH, he put darkness between you and the Egyptians, and brought the sea upon them, and covered them; and your eyes have seen what I have done in Egypt: and ye dwelt in the wilderness a long season. 8 And I brought you into the land of the Amorites, which dwelt on the other side Jordan; and they fought with you: and I gave them into your hand, that ye might possess their land; and I destroyed them from before you. 9 Then Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, arose and warred against Israel, and sent and called Balaam the son of Beor to curse you: 10 But I would not hearken unto Balaam; therefore he blessed you still: so I delivered you out of his hand. 11 And ye went over Jordan, and came unto Jericho: and the men of Jericho fought against you, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Girgashites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; and I delivered them into your hand. 12 And I sent the hornet before you, which drave them out from before you, [even] the two kings of the Amorites; [but] not with your sword, nor with your bow. 13 And I have given you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat.
  4. [Obadiah 1:15-21 KJV] 15 For the day of YAHUAH [is] near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto you: your reward shall return upon your own head. 16 For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, [so] shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been. 17 But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. 18 And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be [any] remaining of the house of Esau; for YAHUAH hath spoken [it]. 19 And [they of] the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and [they of] the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin [shall possess] Gilead. 20 And the captivity of this host of the children of Israel [shall possess] that of the Canaanites, [even] unto Zarephath; and the captivity of Jerusalem, which [is] in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south. 21 And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be YAHUAH'S.
  5. [Romans 9:6-26 KJV] 6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they [are] not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, [are they] all children: but, In Isaac shall your seed be called. 8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these [are] not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. 9 For this [is] the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son. 10 And not only [this]; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, [even] by our father Isaac; 11 (For [the children] being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) 12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. 13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. 14 What shall we say then? [Is there] unrighteousness with God? God forbid. 15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16 So then [it is] not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. 17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised you up, that I might shew my power in you, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. 18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will [have mercy], and whom he will he hardeneth. 19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? 20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed [it], Why hast thou made me thus? 21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? 22 [What] if God, willing to shew [his] wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: 23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, 24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? 25 As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved. 26 And it shall come to pass, [that] in the place where it was said unto them, Ye [are] not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.
  6. [Hebrews 12:4-17 KJV] 4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. 5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected [us], and we gave [them] reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? 10 For they verily for a few days chastened [us] after their own pleasure; but he for [our] profit, that [we] might be partakers of his holiness. 11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. 12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; 13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. 14 Follow peace with all [men], and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: 15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you], and thereby many be defiled; 16 Lest there [be] any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. 17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
  7. [Isaiah 60:1-6 KJV] 1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of YAHUAH is risen upon thee. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but YAHUAH shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. 3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. 4 Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at [thy] side. 5 Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee. 6 The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of YAHUAH.
  8. [Ephesians 5:1-33 KJV] 1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 2 And walk in love, as Messiah also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. 3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Messiah and of God. 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them. 8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now [are ye] light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit [is] in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove [them]. 12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. 13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. 14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Messiah shall give thee light. 15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord [is]. 18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; 19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; 20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Yahusha Messiah; 21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. 22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Messiah is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Messiah, so [let] the wives [be] to their own husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Messiah also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Messiah and the church. 33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife [see] that she reverence [her] husband.
  9. [2 Peter 1:16-21 KJV] 16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Yahusha Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. 19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake [as they were] moved by the Holy Ghost.
