  1. [Genesis 31:1-55 KJV*]

  1. 1 And he heard Aleph/Tav–words of Laban's sons, saying, Jacob has taken away Aleph/Tav all that for our father; and of which for our father has he gotten Aleph/Tav all this glory.
  2. 2 And Jacob saw Aleph/Tav–face of Laban, and, behold, he not with him [h8543]as times [h8032]past.
  3. 3 And YAHUAH said unto Jacob, Return to your fathers’ land, and to your kindred, and I will be with you.
  4. 4 And Jacob sent and called for Rachel and for Leah, the field to his flock,
  5. 5 And said unto them, I see Aleph/Tav–face of  your father, that it [is] not toward me [h8543]as times [h8032]past; but Alahy of my father has been with me.
  6. 6 And Aleph/Tav{/Nun/Hey} you know that with all my strength I have served Aleph/Tav–your father.
  7. 7 And your father has mocked me, and changed my wages ten times; but Alahym not given him to do evil upon me.
  8. 8 If he said thus, The speckled shall be your wages; then all the cattle bare speckled: and if he said thus, The ringstraked shall be your hire; then bare all the cattle ringstraked.
  9. 9 And Alahym [h5337]has delivered Aleph/Tav–cattle of your father, and given to me.
  10. 10 And it came to pass in the time that the flock conceived, that I lifted up my eyes, and saw in a dream, and, behold, the goats which climbed upon the flock ringstraked, speckled, and grisled.
  11. 11 And an angel of the Alahym spoke to me in a dream, Jacob: And I said, Behold me.
  12. 12 And he said, Lift up now your eyes, and see, all the goats climbing upon the flock ringstraked, speckled, and grisled: for I have seen Aleph/Tav all that Laban does to you.
  13. 13 I the Al of Beth–Al, where you anointed there a pillar, where you vowed to me there a vow: now arise, get you out from the land cut from {Zayin/}Aleph/Tav, and return to land of your kindred.
  14. 14 And Rachel and Leah answered and said unto him, yet any portion[h2506] or inheritance[h5159] for us in our father's house?
  15. 15 Are we not counted strangers to him? for he has sold us, and has eaten and even devoured our silver.
  16. 16 For all the riches which Alahym [h5337]has delivered from our father, that [is] ours, and our children's: now then, all that Alahym has said unto you, do.
  17. 17 Then Jacob rose up, and lifted up Aleph/Tav–his sons and Aleph/Tav–his wives upon the camels;
  18. 18 And he carried away Aleph/Tav–all his cattle, and Aleph/Tav–all his goods which he had gotten, the cattle of his acquisitions, which he had gotten in Padanaram, for to go to Isaac his father in land of Canaan.
  19. 19 And Laban went to shear Aleph/Tav–[h6629]his flock: and Rachel had stolen [h8655]the teraphim that her father's.
  20. 20 And Jacob stole Aleph/Tav–heart of Laban the Syrian, in that he told him not that he fled.
  21. 21 So he fled with all that he had; and he rose up, and passed over Aleph/Tav–the river, and set Aleph/Tav–his face the mount Gilead.
  22. 22 And it was told Laban on the third day that Jacob was fled.
  23. 23 And he took Aleph/Tav–his brethren with him, and pursued after him seven days' journey; and they overtook Aleph/Tav{/Vav} him in the mount Gilead.
  24. 24 And Alahym came to Laban the Syrian in a dream of the night, and said unto him, Take heed that you speak not with Jacob from good up to evil.
  25. 25 Then Laban overtook Aleph/Tav–Jacob. Now Jacob had driven in Aleph/Tav–his tent in the mount: and Laban drove in Aleph/Tav–his brethren in the mount of Gilead.
  26. 26 And Laban said to Jacob, What have you done, that you have stolen Aleph/Tav–my heart, and carried away Aleph/Tav–my daughters, as captives of sword?
  27. 27 Why were you hidden to flee away, and steal Aleph/Tav{/Yod} me and did not tell me, that I might have sent you away with joy, and with songs, with timbrel, and with harp?
  28. 28 And have not suffered me to kiss my sons and my daughters? you have now done foolishly in doing.
  29. 29 It is for Al of my hand to do with you evil: but Alahy of your father spoke to me yesterday, saying, Take you heed that you speak not with Jacob from good up to evil.
  30. 30 And now you must keep going because you sorely long for your father's house, why have you stolen [את־אלהי]Aleph/Tav–my god?
  31. 31 And Jacob answered and said to Laban, Because I was afraid: for I said, Peradventure you plunder Aleph/Tav–your daughters from among me.
  32. 32 With whomsoever you find Aleph/Tav–your Alahy, let him not live: before our brethren discern you what [is] yours with me, and take to you. For Jacob knew not that Rachel had stolen them.
  33. 33 And Laban went into Jacob's tent, and into Leah's tent, and into the two maidservants' tents; but he found not. Then went he out of Leah's tent, and entered into Rachel's tent.
  34. 34 Now Rachel had taken Aleph/Tav–the teraphim, and put them in the camel's [h3733]cushion, and sat upon them. And Laban felt around Aleph/Tav–all the tent but found not.
  35. 35 And she said to her father, [h2734]Let it not be angering in your eyes my lord that I cannot rise up from your face; for way of women [is] upon me. And he searched, but found not Aleph/Tav–the teraphim.
  36. 36 And Jacob [h2734]was angered, and [h7378]disputed with Laban: and Jacob answered and said to Laban, What [is] [h6588]my transgression? what [is] my sin[h2403], that you have so hotly pursued after me?
  37. 37 Whereas you have felt around Aleph/Tav–all [h3627]my vessels, what have you found of all your household vessels? set [it] here before my brethren and your brethren, that they may [h3198]reprove between us two.
  38. 38 This twenty years I with you; your ewes[h7353][רחליך] and your she goats are not [h7921]bereaved, and the rams of your flock have I not eaten.
  39. 39 That which was torn I brought not unto you; [אחטּנּה][h2398]I bore the loss of her; of my hand [h1245]you required her, stolen by day, or stolen by night.
  40. 40 I was in the day drought consumed me, and frost by night; and my sleep departed from my eyes.
  41. 41 Thus have I been twenty years in your house; I served you fourteen years for your two daughters, and six years for your flock: and you hast changed Aleph/Tav–my wages ten times.
  42. 42 Except Alahy of my father, Alahy of Abraham, and the fear of Isaac, had been mine, surely you had sent me away now empty. Alahym has seen Aleph/Tav–my affliction and Aleph/Tav–labour of my hands, [h3198]and caused reproof last night.
  43. 43 And Laban answered and said unto Jacob, [These] daughters [are] my daughters, and [these] children [are] my children, and [this] [h6629]flock [is] [h6629]my flock, and all that Aleph/Tav{/Hey} you see [is] mine: and what can I do this day unto these my daughters, or unto their children which they have born?
  44. 44 Now therefore come you, let us make a covenant, I and Aleph/Tav{/Hey} you; and let it be for a witness between me and you.
  45. 45 And Jacob took a stone, [h7311]and erected a pillar[h4676].
  46. 46 And Jacob said unto his brethren, Gather stones; and they took stones, and made an heap[h1530]: and they did eat there upon the heap[h1530].
  47. 47 And Laban called for him Jegarsahadutha[ld][h3026]: but Jacob called for him Galeed[le][h1567].
  48. 48 And Laban said, This heap a witness[h5707] between me and you this day. Therefore was his name called Galeed[h1567];
  49. 49 [והמּצפּה][h4709]And the Mizpah[lf]; for he said, YAHUAH watch[h6822][יצף] between me and you, when [h5641]we are hidden man from his neighbor.
  50. 50 If you shalt afflict Aleph/Tav–my daughters, or if you shall take wives upon my daughters, no man with us; see, Alahym a witness between me and you.
  51. 51 And Laban said to Jacob, Behold this heap, and behold the pillar, [h3384[lg]]I have cast between me and you;
  52. 52 This heap of witness, and the pillar of testimony, that I will not pass over Aleph/Tav–this heap to you, and that Aleph/Tav{/Hey} you shall not pass over Aleph/Tav–this heap and Aleph/Tav–the pillar cut from {Zayin/}Aleph/Tav unto me, for evil.
  53. 53 Alahy of Abraham, and Alahy of Nahor, Alahy of their father, judge between us. And Jacob sware by the fear of his father Isaac.
  54. 54 Then Jacob [h2076]sacrificed a sacrifice[h2077] upon the mount, and called his brethren to eat bread: and they did eat bread, [h3885]and lodged in the mount.
  55. 55 And early in the morning Laban rose up, and kissed his sons and his daughters, and blessed Aleph/Tav{/Hey/Mem} them: and Laban departed, and returned unto his place.

  1. [Exodus 14:1-31 KJV] 1 And YAHUAH spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea. 3 For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They [are] entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in. 4 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I [am] YAHUAH. And they did so. 5 And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us? 6 And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him: 7 And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them. 8 And YAHUAH hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand. 9 But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses [and] chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.
  2. 10 And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto YAHUAH. 11 And they said unto Moses, Because [there were] no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? 12 [Is] not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For [it had been] better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness. 13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of YAHUAH, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. 14 YAHUAH shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
  3. 15 And YAHUAH said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: 16 But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry [ground] through the midst of the sea. 17 And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. 18 And the Egyptians shall know that I [am] YAHUAH, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. 19 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them: 20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness [to them], but it gave light by night [to these]: so that the one came not near the other all the night. 21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and YAHUAH caused the sea to go [back] by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry [land], and the waters were divided. 22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry [ground]: and the waters [were] a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. 23 And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, [even] all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. 24 And it came to pass, that in the morning watch YAHUAH looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, 25 And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for YAHUAH fighteth for them against the Egyptians.
  4. 26 And YAHUAH said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. 27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and YAHUAH overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. 28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, [and] all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them. 29 But the children of Israel walked upon dry [land] in the midst of the sea; and the waters [were] a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. 30 Thus YAHUAH saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore. 31 And Israel saw that great work which YAHUAH did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared YAHUAH, and believed YAHUAH, and his servant Moses.
